This BOF, organized by the Global Multimedia Protocol Group, is for attendees interested in bringing together metaverses, or distinct, persistent, virtual worlds, into a Metaverse - proper noun, like The Internet - a coherent and interconnected realization of the long-standing and loosely defined "cyberspace" represented in countless works of science fiction and to a lesser extent in a number of online services, virtual worlds, and massively multiplayer games. Focus on device-independent, distributed, open and highly scalable technology for interactive immersive online 3D.
